I started on my path of meditation at the age of 17 discovering the benefits of many different types of meditation. At the age of 21 I was introduced to Mindfulness Meditation and I have been in the practice of Mindfulness Meditation for almost 30 years. In 2014 I started Meditating Mama and now I guide and teach private group and private one-on-one Semi Guided Mindfulness Meditation classes for Beginners in-person, through video chat and over the phone.

for Kids (5-11)

Mindfulness provides children with simple,

practical tools to work directly with their nervous systems, helping them regulate emotional states and focus attention.

When children practice focusing skills, they become aware of what their minds are really up to. Mindfulness practice helps children deal with tough emotions and even improves impulse control. It replaces impulsive reactions with thoughtful responses. Without mindfulness we tend to be reactive, whereas with mindfulness we can respond in a balanced, rational way.

I decided to begin mediation classes with Brittany to improve my stress management. Attending Brittany’s classes weekly has helped me solidify my understanding of mindfulness and its importance in my daily life, and I have improved in my ability to take things in stride and appreciate the present moment.
